WorkFit is a program offering a full range of pre-employment services, drug screening, physicals, lifting assessments, lab testing services, x-ray services, vision testing, audio testing, light/modified duty programs supportive of the employee, vaccines, FIT testing, Pulmonary Function Testing(PFT) as well as a complete battery of post accident services.
WorkFit is dedicated to addressing all your post accident needs. We evaluate and treat work related injuries. WorkFit has on staff, a nurse practitioner, solely dedicated to the WorkFit clinic with a Physician as medical director of both WorkFit and MMC Emergency Department. We have friendly and informative staff who are committed to building a relationship with our customers. WorkFit is a full service occupational medicine clinic. We also provide on-site flu shots, hepatitis vaccines, random drug screening (DOT & non DOT), breath alcohol testing, TB skin tests with follow-up evaluation of test results, audiograms in house as well as mobile on-site testing, respirator FIT testing and pulmonary function testing.
WorkFit acts as a liaison between the company, the employee, the nurse practitioner and physician. We pride ourselves in prompt accurate reporting to the employer as well as verifying attendance at scheduled appointments. Together, we will explore modified work options that will allow an injured worker the opportunity to return to work as soon as possible. WorkFit has 24/7 Case Management services for the employers convenience to obtain after hour services for injuries. The case manager for this service can be contacted at (318-382-2358).
WorkFit clinic hours are from 8 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday. Our coverage is extended by use of the Minden Medical Center Emergency department, thus giving you a seamless line of care provided by the ED physicians, NP/PA, and nursing staff. Our Emergency Department is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week and is prepared to discount your company when you become a WorkFit client. All after hours work injuries as well as post accident drugs screens and breath alcohols will be done in the Minden Medical Center Emergency Department with WorkFit staff on call 24/7.
