Kishore Malireddy, MD 

At a young age, Dr. Malireddy saw the effects of his father’s work as a general surgeon. He watched his father care for his patients and provide instant relief through surgery. He wanted to be just like his role model.

Dr. Malireddy is a 9-year veteran of Minden Medical Center. He trained as a surgeon in many different parts of the world including India, the UK, and the US. He is fellowship trained in Laparoscopic Surgery and says his laparoscopic skills are his asset.

Dr. Malireddy enjoys helping people and offering solutions to long-suffering patients. His patients leave his office with all their questions answered. He takes pride in his ability to heal others through minimally invasive surgery.

Presentations and Publications

Dr. Malireddy is highly involved in local and national community groups. He is an active member of the American Cancer Society and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Malireddy enjoys educating his peers through surgical presentations. He has presented at 10 major meetings and events since 2007 as the keynote speaker.

Malireddy has been published in several medical journals. He continues to work on projects to improve healthcare practices and the profession he is so passionate about.

Awards

In 2013, Dr. Malireddy was awarded the Dr. B. Todd Heniford Fellowship Award. This award is given to those who show outstanding patient care, compassionate work, excellence in surgery, and overall exemplary dedication in fellowship. 

Personal

His hobbies outside of his practice include running, playing tennis, and attending community events. His most enjoyable pastime is spending time with his wife and daughters.
