The Women’s Clinic offers a variety of obstetric and gynecological medical services to meet the needs of our patients. The Women’s Clinic Was Established Nearly 40 Years Ago, And Many Of Our Providers Have Called Minden Home For Several Years. The Health And Well-Being Of Our Patients And All Of The Communities That TWC Serves Is Our Priority.
Dr. Russell received his undergraduate and doctorial degrees from LSU in Baton Rouge. He completed his four-year residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU in Shreveport
and served as chief resident for the program in 1992. A board certified Ob/Gyn since 1994, Dr. Russell joined The Women’s Clinic of Minden in 1992 and continues to practice general obstetrics and gynecology in Minden and the surrounding areas with respect and caring ompassion for all of his patients.

Dr. Jessica McKenzie is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician, specializing in Women’s Health. She obtained her Bachelors of Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and completed Medical School at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, in Shreveport, where she also did her residency and Internship in Rural Family Medicine. Dr. McKenzie has participated in transitional care management publications and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Board of Family Medicine, Louisiana State Medical Society and American Medical Association. She is highly committed to delivering exceptional patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
In her spare time she enjoys taking care of her dogs, gardening, costume and special effects make up and podcasts.
Dr. McKenzie sees patients at Women’s Wellness located at 101 Murrell Street Suite #2, in Minden, and at The Women’s Clinic and The Women’s Clinic RHC located at 431 Homer Rd. in Minden.

Dr. Nancy E. Bass prides herself in providing a full spectrum of gynecological, obstetric and wellness care. She believes in patient focused care and the importance of educating her patients on all available treatment options. Dr. Bass strives to build a nurturing and trusting relationship with her patients. She has an interest in and attends conferences in Integrative Medicine and looks forward to incorporating this into her practice. Integrative medicine uses both traditional western medicine but also utilizes alternative medicine when appropriate. Examples include nutrition, supplements, exercise, physical therapy and chiropractor referrals, acupuncture/acupressure, and meditation. Avoiding just a pill to treat a problem that can be treated by lifestyle changes and education is always preferable. Dr. Bass wants to help enable her patients to accomplish a healthy physical, mental, and spiritual life.
Dr. Bass received her Bachelor of Science from the American International College in Springfield, MA, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her Doctorate of Medicine was obtained from St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she was in the top of her class, 11th in a class of over 200. She went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Summa Health System at Akron City Hospital in Akron, OH. She was awarded two presentations at the resident research conference.
Dr. Bass enjoys spending time at home as well as traveling, sailing, swimming and yoga.
Dr. Bass is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the Texas Medical Association, and American Medical Association. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider.
Misti Morgan is a Nurse Practitioner and has cared for women at The Women’s Clinic and The Women’s Clinic RHC in Minden since 2017. Misti is a Louisiana girl, born and raised in Martin. She graduated from Northwestern State University in 2006 with a BSN in Nursing. She worked as a nurse in emergency medicine for 14 years prior to earning her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner. After graduating, she began her NP career in Coushatta then started practicing locally after the birth of her daughter.
Misti lives in Minden and is active in the community. She and her husband stay busy with their daughter Cameron and enjoy camping and any other outdoor activities.
