Stavan Patel, MD DDS FACS

Stavan Patel, M.D., DDS is a board-certified and fellowship-trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He specializes in facial reconstructive surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, the management of facial cleft and developmental craniofacial differences, as well as orthognathic, sleep apnea and TMJ surgeries.  His extensive knowledge and surgical expertise, enables him to treat adult and pediatric patients with health issues related to the face, mouth, and jaw.

Dr. Patel is originally from India but moved to southern California with his family in the 90s.   He received his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University in New York, NY and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport, LA.

Dr. Patel enjoys traveling and meeting people from various parts of the world and in his free time enjoys gardening, woodworking, and travel.

Dr. Patel is passionate about his work and wants his patients to receive the best care without having to travel far distances.
