Shannon P. Francis, APRN, FNP-C, is an advanced practice registered nurse and a certified family nurse practitioner. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her career as a day surgery registered nurse in Texas for eight years. She moved home to Bossier City and transitioned to Willis-Knighton as an operating room nurse in 2004 where she became head nurse for eight years. Francis’ clinical interests led her to urology nursing for five years beginning in 2012. During that time, she continued her education and graduated with a master’s degree in nursing from University of Cincinnati, followed by certification as a family nurse practitioner.
