Originally form Homer, LA, Dr. Willis is no stranger to northern Louisiana. She attended Grambling for her undergraduate degree, LSU-Shreveport for her medical degree, and continued on at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans for her residency in pediatrics. In addition, she has completed a Masters of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She maintained a private practice in east Texas and also helped develop a first of its kind neighborhood clinic in Longview. Since Dr. Willis has had experience in both private practice and public health, she feels the move to Minden and Arcadia to be a good one. “Hopefully, I am combining all my experiences to provide quality pediatric care as well as improve the health status of all ages in Minden, Arcadia and the surrounding areas.
