Lillian Leigh B. Davis has many years of nursing experience as she began her career as a LPN in 1989. She furthered her education by attending Northwestern State University College of Nursing where she obtained her Bachlers then Masters degrees. Leigh began working at Town and Country in 1989 then advanced to Director of Nursing for over 20 years. She then completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2008. As a nurse practitioner she was trained to treat the whole family, from infancy to the elderly. She can assess, diagnose and treat a majority of conditions that affect people of all age groups. Some of these conditions include, Diabetes, Hypertension, Arthritis etc. She also works in conjunction with specialty doctors who are treating the patients for conditions like heart failure, dialysis and cancer.
She received her FNPC certification thru The Americal Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification program then began working for Irizarry Family Practice in Minden. She remained with him until he retired.
My passion is treating and helping all that come to the clinic. She was called to nursing due to having had a life threatening illness. She loves her church and in her spare time she sews, make quilts, does some woodworking.
