Dr. Courtney, board certified in Physiatric Medicine, is the co-medical director of Rehab Services at Minden Medical Center. He can help form rehabilitation treatment plans with other hospital’s interdisciplinary team for patients suffering from a variety of illnesses. These include but are not limited to stroke, brain injury, hip fractures, amputation, back injury, arthritis, chronic pain, and wound management. In addition, Dr. Courtney can perform EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies, and treat musculoskeletal and worker’s compensation injuries. Dr. Courtney completed his medical degree at LSUMC and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
