What makes a hospital Baby-Friendly?
The Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative is a global program that recognizes hospitals that provide an exceptional level of care to breastfeeding moms. Here, new moms receive education about the best evidence-based feeding practices for all babies. Our Labor & Delivery department underwent a rigorous on-site survey to receive the award. We continue to practice the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
