Originally established in 1926, Minden Medical Center is a 161-bed acute care hospital housed in a modern facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and approved by Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross for participation.
We offer a wide range of services, including orthopaedics and sports medicine, cardiology, emergency service, ambulatory surgery, pediatrics, OB/GYN, laboratory, diagnostic x-ray, cardiopulmonary, nuclear medicine, CT scanning, MRI, oncology, and a full range of rehab services with physical, speech, and occupational therapy.
Our medical staff consists of general surgeons, OB/GYNs, pediatricians, family practitioners, urologists, orthopedic surgeon and otolaryngologists (ENT), internal medicine and nephrolgist, podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon. Ophthalmology, Rheumatology, our baby place, behavioral health services, oncology services, and home health agency compliment our acute care offerings.
We also have a full-time radiologist consulting with our acredited Breast Care Center and consulting cardiologists, pathologist, physiatrist, psychiatrist and an interventional pain management specialist. Minden Medical Center offers patients both the sophisticated technology, as well as the compassionate personal attention and caring that are part of being a community-based hospital.
